The Teach For India fellowship was an enlightening experience to say the least. Walking into class everyday posed new problems, and with that new area of development. New possibilities could be opened each day for our kids and the willingness to do something was of prime importance.
The fellowship gave me an opportunity to impart value to society at large, and myself. I engaged in various projects across the domain- from starting a debate tournament, running a cricket tournament and a performance arts showcase to sending letters across the border to kids in Pakistan, the organization was supportive and helpful at each stage.
Needless to say, I learnt a lot throughout the fellowship period and think it was one of the better decisions I have made in life.
